It all started with The Judy's...
When I was about 10 years old,  I came across this tape called "Moo" by a little Texas punk band, called The Judy's and it was like cosmic fate. For some reason, it struck some sort of creative chord of madness inside my brain and I fell head over heels for the song "Trixie & the Killer". I can remember sitting out in the backyard painting and listening to "Moo" on cassette (lol, yeah old school) over and over again until my tape recorder ate it and I thought I would die.

Fade to the future...
In 1993, Trixie & the Killer®, the production company was born when I sold my first piece of art...to my grandpa :)
He asked me to sign it and make him a certificate of authenticity so that when I became famous he could tell everyone he bought the first "official" piece of my insanity.
I'm still not famous, but the name lives on.
I wanted my studio name to be something cool but also something that captured the dichotomy of who I am: soft and hard, immature but responsible, infinitely kind but quick tempered, friendly but given to being a hermit, and so on...

So who is Trixie & the Killer®?  Basically, it's just me.

Hi, my name is Summer.

I am a super hero in my own mind. I even have a theme song and my powers are sarcasm and arrested development. I am an artist, of sorts. I do a lot of freelance work but still have a regular joe 9-5 until I can figure out how to make that sarcasm thing pay the bills.
Right now my favorite movies are
"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and "Flash Gordon" for  OBVIOUS reasons.
Funniest thing I've ever heard:
"Do you want to go to christian speed dating with me?"
My favorite smell: Honestly I’m cool with anything that’s not b.o.
Uhhh…I hate the smell of Axe, love the smell of Nag Champa
(so many memories) and I love the smell of the ocean.
My Utopian dream: Well world peace, duh!  But seriously it would be pretty dope if we lived in a society that had communal swap meets.  Can you imagine the awesomeness if we had those market days like back in "ye olden times" where people could barter for items with other items instead of money?  Just think of how much stuff could be recycled instead of putting it in landfills, and re-purposed into art or music, etc...

I love to eat: Hot & Spicy Tabasco Cheez-its and drink Canada Dry.
I have a thing for: James Franco and Quentin Tarantino films.
I am a carnivore.
I am almost blind in one eye
I love smiles: There is something incredibly attractive about lips and positivity.
The best gift I ever received: Was a hamburger phone. :)
